Review of Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015) by Alan W — 13 Aug 2015
The first film was silly fun, but does not really warrant a sequel. So when DTV-Cusack didn't sign on this time round, it is ominous that the law of diminishing returns will set in hard. There are funny bits in the sequel but not enough to justify its existence.
The end result is a side project for a bunch of TV sitcom actors during their summer downtime. Thankfully I didn't pay to see this or I would have to travel back in time, etc etc.... you know the rest.
As for the Back to the Future 2 ending, let's just chalk that down to wishful thinking.
