Review of Hot to Trot (1988) by Ian R — 14 May 2009

I remember the first time I saw the poster for this movie many years ago, I thought the talking horse was putting his hoof down Bobcat's pants. Suffice it to say the two leads, perhaps to the detriment of the film, do not engage in a homosexual relationship, nor to my memory do they say or do anything that is particularly amusing.

I remember there being a 1-800 number that you could call to hear a message from good ol' Don the Talking Horse, and I'm almost positively I called it. I remember both Howard the Duck and Chucky from "Child's Play" also offering this singular service.

I kind of miss this odd but somehow folksy method of advertising. Why couldn't the guy from "There Will Be Blood" have offered that?
