Parodying the Rambo movies and The Guns of Navarone, Hot Shots Part Deux is one of the best comedies of all time. I didn't say it was one of my favourite comedies, I'm stating a fact. Its one of the best.
You don't have to have seen the movies they are spoofing, but the experience would be better if you had. There are so many references and gags that multiple viewings still deliver chuckles and laughs.
With tons of funny moments and character quirks, Hot Shots Part Deux is my favourite spoof film behind "Airplane.".
