A movie that really is just plain stupid but knows its stupid and does it well. Bravo at making me laugh so much in a movie so bad! This movie uses each actor the best way it can with Samberg as the Napoleon Dynamite-esque lead, Bill Hader as the awkward side-kick, Jorma Taccone as the even more awkward younger brother, Will Arnet as the crazed ex lover of Isla Fischer and of course the great Danny McBride as the amazingly funny friend who knows exactly what to say.
The only real difference between Hot Rod and Napoleon Dynamite is that Hot Rod made me laugh, and that is just great in my book. 81/100.
