Review of Hot Rod (2007) by Pheasant W — 20 May 2010

Yes I love Andy Samberg and I think The Lonely Island is hilarious with great DIgital Shorts and songs. So I went into this movie wanting it to be hilarious. AND it was! The Cool beans part was great. Jorma Taccone is great.

The director is a member of Lonely Island too- Akiva. Good times. Yes it was ridiculous and strange and i'm sure there were too many "dumb" jokes. But I enjoyed it and was entertained. There was a prolonged homage to Black Sheep joke in there I think too, when Chris Farley fell down the huge mountain.

I would watch this movie several more times. Comedies are my favorite genre so I am more prone to give comedies high props! Andy Samberg is hilarious so deal with the 100%!!! I think we all have a little bit of that.

I tend to rank Leo's movies high, comedies high and Harry Potter high. And it will most likely continue. If Deathly Hallows is bad I will be very upset! Perhaps I shrug off little annoyances sometimes.

But I just want to like what I like! Holla!
