Review of Hot Rod (2007) by Peter C — 23 May 2014
One of the first things they teach you in film school is that you have to know the rules if you want to break. Hot Rod knows the rules and breaks them with reckless abandon. A film should be judged by what it is, not whether or not it's Fargo.
The film accomplishes what it set out to accomplish, and repeat viewings are thoroughly enjoyed.
