Review of Hot Pursuit (2015) by Klarissa O — 09 May 2015
This was way, way better than I anticipated. This is NOT one of those movies where they show all the funny parts in the previews. And the funny parts they did show in the previews, most of those were expanded on in the movie to be even funnier.
Even the story line isn't fully explained in the previews, and I appreciated that surprise/mystery as well. One big thing I expected (and this is a spoiler, so stop now if you don't want to know!) was a sudden girl bonding and two bad ass BFFs against all the bad guys - girl power, you know.
But that's not really what happened, and I like that the movie didn't go down the obvious, beaten path. Loved this, still makes me laugh thinking about it, and I want to watch it again already.
Oh, and make sure you stay for the credits, because the bloopers at the end are almost funnier than the movie was!
