Review of Hot Pursuit (1987) by Thegodfatherson — 07 May 2015
Let's just pretend this movie never happened, and we still all love Reese. It's even lower than horrible, it destroys expectations and butchers my love for Reese Witherspoon. Hot Pursuit looks like a movie made for the Razzies.
And it proves it as well. The movie is painfully unfunny, badly acted and even badly written. I thought that the jokes were overused, Sofia Vergara's Jokes were lacklustre, Witerspoon's cop character fell short of expectations and the whole movie collapsed leading to the horrible climax.
The movie has absolutely no funny comedy, no good acting and the interaction between Vergara and Witherspoon's characters doesn't click, it's not funny, and people will know it. There is absolutely no reason this movie should exist.
Ignore Hot Pursuit.
