Review of Hot Fuzz (2007) by Jason R — 19 Aug 2013
An excellent piece of entertainment with hillarious characters (way to go Jim Broadbent). There are so many laugh out loud funny gags, that are all perfectly placed in the film so that you are never bored, where you would be in a normal film.
The entire movie itself exists in no kind of realistic universe that any fault the movie makes in terms of drama is almost entirely forgiveable, because the rest of the movie is just so witty and smart in terms of its humour.
This is a must see movie for anyone who likes Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's team-ups, but do not go in expecting anything more than to be entertained by clever jokes and gore.
