Every bit as brilliant as Edgar Wright's "Shaun of the Dead", "Hot Fuzz" is a movie for people who love movies. As with "Shaun", Wright and dream duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost succeed in blending countless genres seamlessly on screen while still managing to feel like a totally original style.
Wright's direction is one of my favorites in Hollywood and can only be described as kinetic. The comedy is quick and sharp, the action pops off screen, and the minutiae and attention to detail reward repeat viewings.
