Review of Hot Fuzz (2007) by Dustin B — 16 May 2015

I'm aware this movie is extremely popular, but for some reason I couldn't get into it. The first hour felt slow, and while there was some zany amusement in the last half, by this point the film had lost my interest.

I understand it's an homage to numerous cop and buddy cop movies; perhaps if I had seen more of the extensive catalog upon which this film draws, I might have enjoyed it more thoroughly.

Personally, I would not recommend this movie.
