Review of Hostiles (2017) by Jluis_001 — 06 Feb 2018
An incredibly deep performance by Christian Bale that I now see he was ignored in this awards season because this performance is one of the best of his career, but I guess this is due to the low noise this film made and especially to its general quality, with that I'm not saying it's bad at all, it's just that it's Bale's performance that puts it above the average, especially being a western.
It's worth checking it out and also I fully recommend the great music score by Max Richter, who I believe is one the most underrated and underused composers of today.
