I am really disappointed this was not nominated for multiple Academy Awards. It should have made a solid run at Best Picture, Best Actor (Christian Bale), Best Actress/Supporting Actress (Rosamund Pike), and Best Director.
I really enjoyed the movie. The acting all around was very strong. The plot was strong. It really let you understand the times and the muddy issues of morality and retribution. And the various relationships that develop are interesting and subtle to watch as they change through the movie.
Overall very strong movie.
