This was one stupid movie. In the opening scene if this family knew they were living in dangerous Indian territory, when they came charging at them the dad sent his family up a hill in plain sight while he stayed in the open trying to shoot them.
The ending left me scratching my head when Christian Bale who killed Indians all his life put the wife whose family was killed by Indians on a train with an Indian boy as they moved to one of the most racist city's in American Chicago in the 1880's.
