Review of Hostel: Part III (2011) by Screen S — 02 Feb 2012
Laden with clever plot twists and offering an interesting new take on Eli Roth's notoriously macabre concept, this inventive horror threequel is smart, entertaining and surprisingly solid. Expectedly, Spiegel's bargain-bin franchise-milker lacks the originality and shock value of Roth's predecessors, however, it still delivers plenty of suspenseful thrills and boasts some surprisingly good characterisation.
Twisted low-budget horror full of nasty surprises.
