Review of Hostel: Part III (2011) by Scott Don J — 19 Feb 2012
The long awaited 3rd instalment of this horror franchise sees the brutality turn to Las Vegas whereby the killings have become a popular gambling exhibit for rich businessmen. It's an interesting take on proceedings but it appears to detract from the suspense and horror that the dark and gruesome setting gave us in previos instalments.
The severity of the killings were very lean in comparison and the secret organisation is now very public. If anything, this film may have been ranked too high based on comparison with it's previous movies, but in its own right, this film still provides an entertaining concept albeit a somewhat toned down torture fest!
