Review of Hostage (2005) by Ollie D — 04 Aug 2008
A police officer is wracked by guilt from a prior stint as a negotiator. When a mafia accountant is taken hostage on his beat, he must negotiate the standoff, even as his own family is held captive by the mob.
Bruce Willis' role as a hostage situation officer in this film was amazing. I really enjoyed this film. The trailers for this film made this film look really good, and it turned out to be just that.
a few gory parts to this film, especially when he kills the members of the mob at the end of the film. The part of the film when that person droped a molotov on himself was a bit horrible. Florent Emilio Siri's directing in this film was amazing.
one of the best drama films of 2005.
