Even Dennis Quaid's solid acting can't save this one. Horsemen rolls along a rather rough set of rails and ultimately falls flat.
There are some flashes of a good story here and there, but the film follows the innevitable trend of all of these dumb-ass Se7en immitators and goes for too much gore/torture and not enough meat on the actual characters.
Quaid does play a cool part here, and his character really does hold thigns together. Zhang is forgettable in her role, although Eric Balfour has a nice few minutes in the spotlight.
Too long, too messy, and not quite right.
