Review of Horse Feathers (1932) by Ian T — 02 Jan 2008
This one I feel is underappreciated within the Marx Brothers' ouvre. Harpo's extended solos are enough to make one wonder what could have been had he been discovered in the silent era. The throughline of having the 4 as romantic rivals, with the 4 versions of "Everyone Says I love You" (and the mutually agreed upon solution) are brilliant.
