Review of Horrible Bosses (2011) by Ven-Wede — 04 Jan 2012
While not "horrible", Horrible Bosses serves to be nothing more than an average comedy film, despite the promise of its premise. The actors give solid performances, with only Charlie Day's constant shouting really getting on my nerves.
The main problem with the film is the writing, which is nothing more than Hangover worship. Often the jokes fall flat as they are either all set-up with no punchline, or the opposite. Recommended for a look if you're a comedy fan, but if not, it is not likely to turn you into one.
