Review of Horrible Bosses (2011) by Dawn K — 24 May 2013

Don't even get met started about film title's like 'horrible bosses' .. this recent trend of in-your-face self promotion irritates me to the core .. up there on that huge poster, the faces of actors we love with the 'horrible bosses' smeared across it .

. 'oh, I like that guy!" or "she great" "i wonder how it'll all play out with all these great actors that I adore" "oh snap, kevin spacey, as a boss? no way! perfect! jenny anniston? glorious! and oh yeah, that other guy, uh, farrell? farellel?" it's basically presenting some situational comedy point blank.

it says, this movie is for entertainment purpose only. everything you need to know we will put up on the screen for you stupid idiots to absorb easily. and that film does just that. It's easily digestible 'edgy' 'dark' comedy .

. the thing is, 'bosses' does it's job so well at entertaining that to dismiss it completely just because of it's blatant commercial marketing schemes and existence as an rising actors vehicle, would be just a bit to spiteful .

. what can I say, but horrible bosses is anything but ..
