"Horrible Bosses 2" - Reuses jokes, but still funny enough for a sequel.

Comedies are always better when the actors work well together. I thought the 2011 comedy "Horrible Bosses" was excellent, and along with being funny, had three actors that really had great chemistry, which helped it even more. It was quick, witty, and clever, and one of 2011's best comedies.

So we all know what happens with successful comedies. Yeah you guessed it: sequels! It happened with "The Hangover" and soon to be for "Hot Tub Time Machine". It's rare that they're ever as good as the first film, but it's certainly possible. "Horrible Bosses 2" is nowhere near as original and funny as the first film was, but it's not terrible by any means. I wasn't disappointed because I didn't expect it to be as good.

Normally the story is somewhat the same. With "Horrible Bosses 2" we have cameos from Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston, two of the bosses from the original film, but otherwise a somewhat fresh storyline. Also there's a lot more from Jamie Foxx's character, whose name I can't say. This time the three main characters have their idea of a new product stolen by the "boss" of a corporation, played by Christoph Waltz.

Their scheme to get their money back becomes fairly complex, and there are a bit of laughs along the way, although some of which are being pulled from the audience. By that I mean you really get the idea they're trying too hard to make us laugh. Some of the comedy is pretty dry, and there is reused material from the first, but all in all it's not so bad.

So again we have a mediocre sequel worth a few laughs. It's not bad but it isn't too great either. Luckily the chemistry between the three main actors remains to be well intact and that's what gives it the extra points.
