Review of Horns (2013) by David A — 14 Oct 2014
Horns is a dark and twisted supernatural crime thriller. Daniel Radcliffe gives his strongest acting job to date and delivers a dark and emotional performance. Thankfully the original and unique premise is used to its full advantage even if it does make the narratives third act a bit muddled.
Aja directs the film masterfully and delivers some beautiful cinematography and some tense and emotional scenes. Sadly the film's greatest fault is an uneven and muddled tone that does thankfully get fixed in its third act, but it does hinder the film's first two acts.
