Review of Horns (2013) by Alex B — 25 Oct 2014
This was quite something.... I don't think it was totally a success, but it's also wildly inventive in the things it does, and it does quite a few things in surprising ways.... it suffers from not having a clear tone and it comes off pretty inconsistent in that regard at times, as if the writers didn't really want to stick with just one genre.
... mostly, though, it works, and it's mostly funny the whole way through. ....being a fan of the Harry Potter films but never one of Radcliffe, he was pretty good here.... the fact that he wasn't switching accents that much was really surprising, especially when his past co-star Emma Watson seems to have much bigger problems with this.
... overall, a fun experience..
