Review of Horns (2013) by Scott J — 02 Nov 2014
I loved the book, which makes the effort put into the movie so dissapointing. The emotional core is mostly gone and never rises about made-for-tv movie, and the relationship between Ig and Marin seems so bland.
You never get more than a surface performance from Radcliff, plus most of the horrific nature of the book is played for laughs here, and most of the changes made from the source material are aggravating and they strip away most of the nuances of the characters and the story.
Not a good start for Joe Hill adaptations.
