Review of Horns (2013) by Amanda H — 07 Nov 2014
I can understand why this movie isn't for everyone, and a large part of me wanted to hate it too. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Daniel Radcliffe again without being just a little uncomfortable- in the best possible way.
Sure, this isn't the greatest film ever made. It's full of holes and there's really no clear explanation as to why the things that are happening... are happening. Maybe if I had read the book first, I'd have a better understanding.
But either way, there is no denying that Daniel Radcliffe is a phenomenal actor and this role is probably his biggest stretch yet. It's not a fun watch- sometimes it's downright torturous- but it's worth seeing.
