Review of Horns (2013) by Alan L — 07 Jan 2016
The film starts out promising and Daniel Radcliffe's performance actually keeps it from getting a lower score. However the pacing of the film somewhat ruins it.
None of the characters have any level of respect for each other, to the extent that it gets absolutely ridiculous and implausible, with the final chapter being entirely unsatisfying. It can't seem to make up its mind as to whether its slapstick comedy, fantasy or a detective story.
It feels a little bit of a let down as it would have been nice to see daniel radcliffes character going through a journey of discovery both whilst picking up clues about the killer and about himself. But sadly it misses the mark.
Should you give it a miss? I'd suggest it.
