Absolutely amazing movie. Maybe the best solo work Matthau did, aside from maybe Charley Varrick and Taking of Pelham One Two Three.
Matthau runs rings around everyone and is so smooth it almost defies belief. Classy and slick. I wish they still made movies like this.
