I would not have seen this film if not for the encouragement by a close friend of mine. I'm glad she did. Difficult to watch at times yet I was well aware of the maturity, sensitivity, and respect this film treated it's subject of intimacy beyond the media hyperbolized "Wonder Years".
It necessarily ties sex in with intimacy. I encourage all men to watch AND LEARN from this film; the lesson that love is a continuous act of imaginative, compassionate, creation that should not be bridled by arrogant self assurances and driven by the popular iconic misdirections that surround us today.
