I'm about to lose Critic Creds, but... I hate Meryl Streep films. There. Said it. I hate them. I cannot think of one movie I liked her in. Devil Wears Prada: Liked the movie but for Hathaway. Series of Unfortunate Events: Okay movie, meh Streep. And now after this film I give up. They'll have to cast Streep in the Avengers 2 to get me to watch a movie with her again.

I expected this to be okay. Funny. Good stuff with Tommy Lee Jones. Amusing scenes with Steve Carell. No. Instead we got an intimate look at the awkward sex lives of Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones. I don't know if there are any actors in Hollywood right now who are less suited for a movie about sex. Don't get me wrong. I love Tommy Lee Jones, but come on man I don't want to go there. Some things are better left between a couple and a therapist, but this movie forced us right into that conversation and it was AWKWARD. I... could not stand it. This movie has an audience. It is not me. Never again.
