Review of Hope Springs (2012) by Stephanie C — 31 Dec 2012
An brilliant performance by Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones. This film relied heavily on these two stars as they drove the film from laughter to emotional drama. Well written screenplay by Vanessa Taylor and a great direction from David Frankel.
Steve Carrel also gave a good supportive performance as the marriage counsellor.
