I like this movie for it's sudden bursts of cruelity. Cheating with your best friends husband; tell her on national TV. Want to make a new life with your mistress; leave your kid crying on the sidewalk and honk your horn at her.
Other than that it's your standard romance movie. I'm still really curious about the little boy's mother though. What kind of person leaves their kid with their parents and never comes back.
.. I just noticed something... THIS WAS DIRECTED BY FOREST WHITAKER! What the hell?
