Review of Hope and Glory (1987) by James M — 23 Nov 2009
Excellent war film, told from the point of view of a boy who thinks it's all fun, games and adventure. It's clear that it's a personal pet project for John Boorman, who directs his own screenplay with a touch of poetry.
There's some good jokes too. Very good.
