For what it is and with taking it as seriously as one can, Hop can be a fun and entertaining film. Brand does well and his supporting cast helps makes his character believable. It's true that the film is comprised of mostly mindless storytelling, but if you can muster up enough courage to sit back and TRY to enjoy it, you will.
