Without a doubt, children with have a blast having this film, as this is one of those reality and CGI crossover, that presents a fun ride and humor that is mainly aimed for children. However, when it comes to the adults, unless you like to watch children flicks, then you will possibly dislike this film basing off of the lack of creativity that this film contained. Also, there is no actual depth to the storyline as the film avoided to actually do anything. Children who go watch this film will not care about the unproductively of the film. However, adults who do not enjoy these types of films will have to endure unexplained plot holes, nothing when it comes to character depth, and the unfunny humor. No matter what type of film that exists, you have to pay attention to every detail that you present, and this film lacked this exact thing. It really felt like a rough draft of a script that was made into a movie, as everything is unexplained, why people don't get freaked out over the talking rabbit is left in question, and why the main character is an idiot is left unsolved.

There is a special, actually not so special anymore as his appearance is overused, cameo appearance in this film. To come out of nowhere to introduce this cameo is good in my book, but to have nothing going on and to add him, is actually pointless, making this cameo appearance quite disappointing.

To easily put it, there is actually no plot, as it is about a man, acting childish and dreaming of something that only a little 5 year old boy would ever dream of. If you are wondering how they can pull of an easter bunny film, the answer is simple; you borrow elements and characteristics from another famous holiday: Christmas. As you watch everything about the Easter Bunny, you just can't help the lack of creativity that the crew put into this children film. The one and only praise I will give about this film was that there were several jokes that could make you laugh. It wasn't laugh out loud funny, but it will bring some chuckle; not a lot though.

The CGI wasn't all that bad, the characters looked adorable enough to make the kids like them. However, in the end, adults like me will just not care about these characters. The human characters will probably annoy you as there is no depth on them and anyone could have portrayed as these characters. I hated all of the characters and everyone was just as annoying. As said, nothing made sense and the father figure annoyed me the most as he was is disappointed with his son throughout the film, then what he does at the end really did not make any sense. Russell Brand was actually pretty nice as the Easter Bunny; he was actually the only performance in this film that did not bug me at all.

In every kids film, there is always a moral to everything; for this, there is no moral, it is a mindless kids film that kids can enjoy. As said earlier, kids will love this film, but adults like me will definitely find a hard time to enjoy this film. Nothing productive, no explanation, no plot, and a bad cast.
