It's a little kids movie, and they made it knowing that. The music was fun, and scenes like The Hoff stuff were written to be silly. Kids don't need a lot to be happy with a movie, and this delivered laughs, singing and dancing and enjoyment for my son.
It wasn't the hardest kid's movie I've had to sit through, it wasn't the easiest either. But I had fun with the music and loved Brand as EB.
