Hands down greatest basketball movie of all time. Gene Hackman plays the role of a 1950's small town head basketball coach. He takes over the team and endures the struggles and mockery by the locals and even escapes being fired before turning the team into winners and taking them all the way to the state finals against a school much bigger than their school in the largest gymnasium these boys had ever even scene, David vs Goliath!! True story, and this movie stuck to the truth.
