Review of Hoop Dreams (1994) by Chad K — 23 Jul 2007
Growing up in Illinois, I particularly enjoyed this documentary. Watching the lives of these two young men quickly puts my "troubles" into perspective. Does a great job of showing the sordid underbelly of the recruiting process from the street agents to the scholarship players at the private, elite high school to the high pressure world of landing a D-I scholarship.
