Review of Hoop Dreams (1994) by Aaron R — 09 Jul 2012
One of the most impressive, emotional documentaries I have seen, "Hoop Dreams" is not to be missed. Director Steve James, whose other brilliant documentaries include "Stevie" and "The Interrupters," is a master of capturing reality and finding the sadness, triumph, hope and humanity in the lives of two kids trying to make it out of inner-city Chicago and accomplish their dreams.
