Hoop Dreams is one of my favorite documentaries. It shows the true story of two men wanting to play in the NBA and they didn't make the cut. Along with NBA great and Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas, this movie will inspire everyone whether you're learning it from your school or just reading Sports Illustrated.
I watched the movie but haven't get the Criterion yet. Awesome movie, it's one of the many movies you must see before you die.
