Review of Hook (1991) by Christina S — 30 Dec 2011
I'm curious, why does this have such horrible ratings? After reading through them, I've come to the conclusion that they have lost their marbles. "Hook" is funny, action packed, full of adventure, romance, and sad memories that tug at your heart strings.
It gives you a more in depth view of Peter Pan, and how, after leaving Neverland and growing up, becomes obsessed with success rather than his family. Although Neverland makes you forget, so does the real world.
Peter Pan forgets who he really is, forgets how to have fun, and forgets the real reason why he grew up, which was to become a husband and father. I recommend this beautifully put together film for everyone.
