Review of Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil (2011) by Campbell P — 23 May 2011

Hoodwinked Too or "Two" however you want to spell it is a kids cartoon. Ive never seen the first Hoodwinked film, but I dont think it matters because in this film you meet all the characters again.

Is this a good film?. Well I first off picked myself a good seat in the movie theater than put my 3D glasses on, but than realised that the trailers weren't in 3D so than I was confused for a couple of minutes. Should I take my 3D glasses off or should I leave them on?, yes very confusing I know. Just as the movie was starting I than realised that there were only about two adults in the crowd and the other 30 people were young children around Bob M's age.

It looked like it was a good thing that I kept my 3D glasses on and that is because Hoodwinked Too actually delivers some of the best 3D ive seen. There are things bouncing all over the screen, lots of colouful characters and big objects all over the show, I was entertained by the 3D in the film, and most of the time I let out a few laughs. The film's plot is very simple and really corny, and at first I was like this is just plain ridiculous. Tho as I heard the children in the crowd laughing at everything going on I than said to myself, "Finally a proper childrens cartoon", that they obvioulsy can connect with and understand. So if youre children are pissing you off in the weekend, drop'em to this movie.

Over the years there have been alot of cartoons, but the film's plot is most of time just to complex for any young child to understand. Just look at "Rango", thats a very good cartoon but could you see a young child enjoying it?. Also "Toy story 3" which also is another good cartoon that lots of children will like due to the colourful characters, but are they going to understand the emotional depth?.

Hoodwinked Too from what I can understand is just made for children. There is alot of cool 3D, lots of colourful charcaters and a plot and screenplay that will be amusing and funny for children. Im giving this one a fresh rating just for it being a all'round entertaining film for kids.
