Shame this is being overlooked as it's a really fun High School movie in the vein of Clueless and Election. Yes, it's a blend of familiar elements but there's a real beating heart in there and a darker edge than you might expect.

The chief attraction, though, is Angourie Rice, who carries the film effortlessly. In her first test for major stardom, she passes with flying colours.
