Review of Honolulu (1939) by Christopher B — 23 Oct 2017
A pleasant date night movie, with solid cinematography, lighting, decor, and supporting actors. Perhaps the best little musical number is the one where Powell taps on glass while seated next to ukulele-playing Allen.
Simple, effective, informative, yet still fun to watch.
