The girl was beautiful but she was abandoned by her mom and molested by her grandfather which made her incapable of loving a decent man because we accept the love we think we deserve and her capacity for love was minimized before she knew what love meant.
throughout the movie she was abused mentally, emotionally, and physically. she attempted suicide and contemplated it daily. this movie was so sad and complex and I can't even digest it. #shook.
