Review of Honeymoon (2014) by Craig F — 27 Dec 2014
Stressful, slow buildup, tense interactions, and a disturbing final act make this the strongest horror movie of 2014. Beginning with an intimate look at their relationship and slowly transitioning into horror, Honeymoon is as much a horror movie as it is a study of Bea and Paul's relationship.
Devoted and in love with Bea, Paul stays by her through her unsettling transformation and in a stellar buildup, Honeymoon allows the unknown to strike fear into the viewer.
