Review of Honeymoon (2014) by Jen H — 25 Mar 2015
Um yea. The first half was actually quite promising. The central relationship was convincing with two great performances and the film-making was stylish and intelligently done. The commentary on honeymoons and a more basic message on whether he made the right choice or not would have really sufficed for me.
I just don't really understand the second half as it attempts to do an ill-informed impression of Rosemary's Baby with half the tension and sustained dread.
