Review of Honeydripper (2007) by Rob W — 19 May 2008
Fantastic music holds this film just above water. At times it is way too slow and you spend a lot of the second third of the film wishing that they would hurry up with Sonny's virtuoso performance that saves the Honeydripper at the end.
Great little role for Keb Mo as the mysterious blind blues musician who sits there riffing away on a slide guitar. Only watch if you are a fan of the blues.
