Really liked this. One of the westerns in the 50s to be little more complex in its morality. Wayne's character is half Apache and lived with them for five years.
Strongly suggest the 15 minute extra about the Apaches, which talks about their lifestyle, warfare, treatment by the U.S., and where the story is correct or inconsistent. It added a whole different level to this film to me.
