Three household pets, voiced by Sally Field, Michael J. Fox, and Don Ameche, find themselves away from home and stranded in the open wilderness. They're then forced to undertake a homeric trek in the hopes of returning to their beloved family.
This children's movie, derived from Sheila Burnford's best selling novel, has enough humor and heart to entertain and enrapture most kids. It was a viewing staple of my childhood and I have many fond memories of it.
